The Olympia School District Board of Directors welcomes your interest in our school district.
The public is encouraged to attend school board meetings, and a time is
set aside for public comment near the start of each regularly-scheduled
meeting. Meeting agendas outlining the topics the board is scheduled to
discuss or take action on are available at every board meeting and in
advance on the district website
Olympia School District Board Meetings, Special Meetings, and Work Sessions will be conducted in-person and/or remotely online by video and/or phone conferencing. For public comment, please see your options below:
To Sign-Up for Public Comment at Our Next Board Meeting
When in BoardDocs:
- On the main BoardDocs landing page, under the Document heading, select "How to Provide Public Comments to the School Board." Please follow these directions carefully if you wish to address the board.
- Select one of the two (2) options provided: 1) Sign-Up List via Google Form OR 2) call (360) 596-6117.
- Please note that the meeting agenda will not be posted until the Friday before the meeting.

Public comments received by email will be collected between meetings and provided to the Board for their review. These comments will also be posted in BoardDocs on the appropriate meeting date with the meeting minutes and under the Public Comment section of the meeting agenda.

If a citizen has a question about a school-specific issue, staff member
or student, it is appropriate to begin that dialogue at the school or
district office level with the principal or district leader. Contact
information for all schools and district departments is posted on this
school district website. If a citizen continues to have a concern, they
are encouraged to contact the Superintendent's office at 360-596-6117.
