Balanced Calendar Survey Results

OSD Balanced Calendar graphic

The Olympia School District is in the early stage of exploring a balanced calendar. Information was shared in March 2022, including an informational flyer. Additional information, including examples of balanced calendars in other school districts across the country, is also available on the school district website.

A Balanced Calendar survey administered in May 2022 helped the district gauge community interest on whether or not to more formally investigate a balanced calendar for the Olympia School District.

Below are the results of that survey. At the bottom of this page, the results have been broken out into the four respondent categories; OSD Family Member, OSD Staff Member, OSD Student and Community Member. Simply click on the expandable section to view the individualized survey results.
