Board Meeting Schedule

Olympia School Board meetings are formal business meetings for the district where items are voted upon by a majority of the board for approval. Other than Recommended Routine items, items that appear for a vote on the school board agenda are usually researched and approved by a committee before being brought before the full board.

Olympia School Board regular meetings are generally held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m., except where noted below in the full list of 203-24 regular meetings. Meetings are held at the Knox 111 Administrative Center Boardroom located at 111 Bethel St., N.E., Olympia, WA 98506 unless noted otherwise. Doors to the Knox Building are locked at 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday but will reopen at 6:15 p.m. on Thursdays when board meetings are scheduled.

Work sessions are intended to provide opportunities for board members to study difficult issues, gather and analyze information, and clarify problems.

Board work sessions are typically scheduled for the first Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. unless noted otherwise.

The public is invited to attend regular board meetings and work sessions. Public comments are accepted during regular board meetings; however, there is no public comment at work sessions.
