Work with communications to create Robo call and email to share assessment timeline

October 14, 2019

K-1 referral window opens (forms can be found on the website: https://osd.wednet.edu/academics/highly_capable/highly_capable_forms)

Parents, teachers, principals and other school staff can refer students.

Send SIGS (Scales for Rating Gifted Students) to teachers

MAP and CogAT testing window opens

*MAP will be administered by teachers in the building 

*CoGAT will be administered by proctors from Teaching and Learning at the buildings

Collect SIGS from teachers

December 3, 2019

Mail CogAT tests for scoring

Multidisciplinary team meets to review data and identify students

January 11, 2020

Notify schools of newly identified students

Send notification letters to families
