OSD Special Education Parent Teacher Organization

The Special Education PTO works to improve each child's school experience by connecting parents and educators with information and with one another. The PTO works in partnership with the District, making recommendations for the annual budget, educational programs, and any other topics concerning our students.

The PTO meets monthly during the school year and provides informative programs on a wide variety of topics including community resources, District programs, managing the IEP process, and much more. Meetings are open to everyone—parents, guardians, Special Education and general education teachers, family members, administrators, paraeducators and therapists. You may attend any or all meetings. 

Free Childcare activities provided with a certified teacher. If your child(ren) requires highly specialized care, please give 3 days advance notice. Notify Erika Krupp if you are bringing an infant. 360-705-6497

Upcoming Meeting - March 18
When: Wednesday, March 18 6-7:30 p.m.
Where: 111 Bethel St NE Olympia 98506 - Room 202
Topic: We will learn about assistive technology devices and apps to help students of all ages and abilities. Bring your questions and curiosity. In addition, we will continue discussing sections of the IEP to help keep families informed and confident.
