5th Grade Strings

Hello Fantastic 5th Grade Students and Families! We hope you had a lovely summer, and are ready to learn some wonderful new things this year!

What will Orchestra look like in the fall during distance learning?

Orchestra will be online this fall during distance learning, and we will have Zoom classes on Tuesdays and Fridays from 2:15-2:45pm. Your orchestra teacher will also be available at other days/times for additional online help, and we will be available at various schools for “drive-by instrument tuning/assistance.”

Since last year was so unusual, we’ll be doing LOTS of review, so even if you don’t remember much from 4th grade orchestra, that’s ok!

We’ll review instrument parts/care, note-reading, making a great sound and playing lots of songs!

How do I get signed up for 5th Grade Strings?

If you have not yet gotten your instrument back, head to one of our local music stores and they can rent you an instrument that’s the right size for you.

Look in the directory below and email the strings teacher at your school to get started!

Who is my strings/orchestra teacher?
