2017-18 School Year Calendar
The online 2017-18 School Year Calendar contains districtwide holidays and events. School-specific events are not included, so be sure to check school websites and calendars for specific school-related events, activities and announcements.
Important: Date correction for the printed/paper 2017-18 school year calendar: November 9, 2017 is listed as an early release/half-day for middle school students. This is an error. November 9, 2017 is a regular full day for all middle school students.

Every year, more than 4,800 people choose to volunteer in Olympia Schools. Each year volunteers must complete an ONLINE Volunteer Application or a Paper Volunteer Application. In addition to the application itself, two additional forms require signature and submission; the "Confidentiality Statement for Volunteers" and the "Code of Conduct for Volunteers." Once your paperwork has been received and a background check is completed, you will be contacted.
