Sports Physicals

Physical examinations are required for all interscholastic sports participation, including the activities of drill/dance/cheer squads. Verification of the physical examination must be submitted, at the time of sports clearance, on a form provided by the District and signed by a medical professional licensed to perform physical examinations.  Certification for participaiton will be valid for a 13-month period from the date of the examination.

The Olympia School District has joined with local health care providers to offer complete athletic physical examinations -- including EKGs and baseline cognative assessments (a component of the head injury protocol) -- at no cost.  These physicals are available to all Olympia School District high school athletes on the 1st Saturday of June at Capital High School.  A schedule of examination times will be posted in May.
