Three ways to contact the Helpdesk:
- Call 596-6172 (voicemail is available if line is busy)
- Click Here to Enter Your Ticket on the Web
- Enter your email address to login
- Click onto the IT Request tab
- Enter your ticket
- The password is "password"
- Email helpdesk@osd.wednet.edu and include the following:
- Your Name
- The building involved
- Specific Location (Classroom number, gym, office)
- brief description of the request or problem
Frequently Asked Questions
When can I expect a response to my request?
Web entries are immediately passed on to each building's tech staff. Email and phone requests are typically entered when received and no later than the end of the business day.
Your building's Tech staff will deal with all issues as quickly as priorities will allow.
What can I do to make my requests easy to answer?
Specificity helps. Please tell us:
- Computer: Apple, Dell or other?, laptop or desktop?
- Web Problem: Firefox or Internet Explorer? What was the address of the page that had an issue?
- Include the text of the error message that was displayed.
- What did you expect to happen?
- What did you do, and what happened as a result?
- Did it work before and then stop? If so, when?
- Include details that seem pertinent.
