Diabetes Corner

If you have diabetes, you are not alone.  Each year, thousands of kids just like you are diagnosed with either Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes.  Click below on the type of diabetes you have to get smart about what diabetes is and how it affects you.  The more you know, the better you can manage your diabetes to stay healthy, active and strong!

Sample 1200 Calorie Diabetic Menu

Based on:

  • 150 grams of carbohydrate (50% of total calorie intake for the day)
  • 15 grams of carbohydrate per serving
  • 10 servings of carbohydrates (150 grams divided by 15 grams per serving = 10 servings)
