Budget forums canceled May 15 and 16
Olympia School District staff and the Board of Directors are in the process of developing the 2018-19 school year operating budget. Staff originally anticipated proposing a budget to the school board in early May and holding community budget forums on May 15 and May 16.

Given the new state funding formulas and accompanying need for tools and clarification from state and legal officials, the May 15 and 16 budget forums have been canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date. By law, the Olympia School District Board of Directors must adopt a budget by August 31, 2018 and is on track to do so well before this deadline.
