The Reading Foundation
The Reading Foundation is a national cyber-organization there to support the 3 primary groups whose roles are essential to do what we, as a nation, have never achieved before—to assure that virtually all of our children read at or above grade level by third grade.

Farmer's Market
To Promote and encourage the development of local small scale agriculture and ensure a dynamic market balance for small, local growers and others to make available their products to residents of this community.
Hands on Chlidren's Museum
Hands On Chlidren's Museum, one of the largest youth museums in the Northwest with over 10,000 square feet of exhibit space,over 50 interactive exhibits and designed for kids and parents to enjoy themselves.

Music In the Park
Olympia's summer outdoor concert series, held Fridays at noon in Sylvester Park from mid-July through August. Twilight concerts known as Music in the Dark, take place in the park on Wednesday evenings during those same weeks, 6:30 p.m.
Super Saturday
The Evergreen State College began hosting Super Saturday in 1978 as a way to thank the community for its support and to have some fun on graduation weekend. The popular event attracts 25,000 with its mix of entertainment, handmade arts and crafts, and international foods and flavors.
