2011-2012 Recognition Awards
It's that time of year again to nominate any of your colleauges for an OSD Board of Director's Recognition Award. Do you work with a Bridge Builder, watch an Innovator in action, or want to recognize an Unsung Hero? Check out the nomination categories.
Nomination Categories:
- The Instructor—“Excels in Teaching”—Any staff member who continually demonstrates outstanding efforts in helping students both achieve and exceed the Essential Academic Learning Requirements.
- The Innovator—“Changes Making a Difference”—Any staff member who demonstrates innovative strategies that significantly improve student learning.
- The Unsung Hero—“Goes the Extra Mile”—Any staff member who continually gets results with little or no fanfare.
- The Bridge Builder—“Reaches out to the Community”—Any staff member who fosters and supports family and community involvement for enhanced learning.
- The Sparkplug—“Ignites and Energizes Individuals and Groups”—Any staff member who inspires others to take action for the betterment of students.
- The Conductor—“Creates Harmony”—Any staff member who actively creates a positive environment which promotes student and/or staff success.
- The Trailblazer— “Leadership Beyond the District”—Any staff member who has taken a leadership role outside of the District for the improvement of education.
- The Champion of Differences—“Celebrates Diversity”—Any staff member who, by their actions, celebrates and values the differences of individuals and groups.
- The Playmaker—“Supports Others”—Any staff member who plays a unique role in enabling others to excel.
- The Dream Team— “Above and Beyond”—Any group of staff members working together to help students succeed either in or out of the classroom.
Nominations are due by Monday, April 30th, 2012 at 5pm in the Human Resources office. Please call 596-6185 or email Amber or Beth if you have any questions. Selected award recipients will be honored by the Board of Directors on May 14, 2012.
